Linn Energy is selling 20,000 acres across North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana to an undisclosed buyer as the US independent shifts its focus to Oklahoma's Anadarko basin.
The $285 million sale comprises properties that produced about 8000 barrels of oil equivalent in the second quarter of this year, and hold around 20 million boe in proved developed reserves valued at $186 million.
