The company owns 100% of five exploration permits in PNG, and was a subsidiary of a company called Indo Pacific Energy that was acquired in August 2012 by Orchid Capital.
Orchid Capital was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and then it changed its name to Coral Sea Petroleum just over a month ago.
Coral Sea Petroleum’s five permits are nearshore PPL 366 and PPL 367, and offshore PPL 356, PPL 357 and PPL 358.
