Liverpool Bay operator Eni is carrying out a feasibility study for a possible solar farm close to the onshore Point of Ayr terminal on the Dee Estuary in the UK, part of the Italian operator’s pledge to achieve carbon-neutral operations by 2030, writes Rob Watts.
“Decarbonisation is a key pillar of our strategy,” Andrew Gwenter, Liverpool Bay district manager at Eni, told an industry conference in Liverpool.
