ExxonMobil has taken a significant step forward with its massive development programme on the Stabroek block off Guyana by sanctioning the Liza 2 project.
Along with partners Hess and CNOOC International, the US supermajor has given the green light to a scheme that will produce via the Liza Unity floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which will have capacity for 220,000 barrels per day of oil per day.
