US independent Llog Exploration has filed an exploration plan for a new prospect in the remote Walker Ridge area of the deep-water Gulf of Mexico.
The drilling plan for Walker Ridge 21 was received by regulators on 8 October, just days before the company announced it would make a key subsea tree order to advance the Shenandoah development in blocks 51, 52 and 53 within the same planning area.
