Llog Exploration has started production from its Buckskin oilfield project in the ultra-deepwater US Gulf of Mexico.
The field has been developed as a subsea tie-back to the Anadarko-operated Lucius spar platform in Keathley Canyon block 875 from an initial two production wells drilled in Block 829 in a water depth of about 6800 feet.
“Drilling, completion and subsea installation were completed ahead of schedule and on budget,” operator Llog said.
