The credit goes to Llog offshore construction manager Craig Mullett for naming the facility after the film’s zany college fraternity house that was under double-secret probation.
Delta House was the only logical conclusion for Llog since it had already named wells and prospects after characters in the movie, such as Niedermeyer and Son of Bluto.
“Our geologists and geophysicists who identify the prospects are generally the ones who get to name the prospects,” says Llog’s vice president for deep-water projects Rick Fowler.
