Allseas and TechnipFMC are teasing Australian contractors with fabrication opportunities linked to the second upstream development phase of the Chevron-led Gorgon liquefied natural gas project in Western Australia, writes Russell Searancke.
Allseas is the main contractor for the subsea pipelines while TechnipFMC is the lead contractor for all the subsea installation work.
In turn, both major services companies are seeking to sub-contract some of their workscopes, including the fabrication of certain equipment or structures.
