The Sri Lanka government has issued a letter of intent to India’s Petronet LNG to work on a liquefied natural gas import terminal to be built near the capital Colombo, writes Amanda Battersby.
A joint venture of Petronet plus Japanese and Sri Lankan companies will work on the project that will provide regasified volumes to various power plants, domestic customers and the transportation sector.
