ANADARKO has begun to scope out options for debottlenecking at its Lucius spar in the deep-water Gulf of Mexico after production from initial wells came in ahead of expectations.
The US independent’s facility — its largest in deep water — came online in January and is currently producing from six wells with peak output levels of more than 82,000 barrels per day, according to facilities engineering manager Matt Lamey.
