The Black Sea off Romania is full of sunken centuries-old treasures but luckily for Lukoil, a survey it commissioned failed to find anything of potential archaeological interest.

The Russian oil giant had hired UK-based James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS) to conduct a deep-towed survey in the area of its Ex30 Trident block.

The survey, carried out in water depths of around 1000 metres, has now been completed with the multi-purpose support vessel Ievoli Cobalt.
