Russian privately owned player Lukoil has removed a cap on production from its Kandym gas project in Uzbekistan after local authorities approved a full-scale start-up of a major gas processing and treatment facility.
According to the Uzbek Energy Ministry, representatives of the country’s various supervising bodies and worker’s unions rubber-stamped the start of operations for the Kandym gas plant at the end of the last week.
