The Bertam field, in Block PM 307 off Peninsular Malaysia, will be exploited using a 20-slot wellhead platform, expected to be built by local contractor Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering at its Pasir Gudang yard in Johor.
The wellhead platform will be installed in 76 metres of water, adjacent to Lundin’s spread-moored Ikdam floating production, storage and offloading vessel Ikdam, which will be modified for the job.
