The operator of the Bertam oilfield and Petronas’ Petroleum Management Unit (PMU) are said to have commenced a review of the development options for the 1995 Bertam discovery. A company spokesperson confirmed to Upstream that conceptual studies are ongoing for Bertam and are expected to be completed in the first half of 2013. A field development plan will be submitted to the PMU thereafter.
