Some of the hottest demand is in the rig sector, as crews must be found for the 27 units supposed to be delivered to Petrobras over the next five years.
At least three of these rigs are being supplied by Norway's Seadrill, and hiring was very much the main topic on that company's stand.
“We have hired 500 Brazilian employees and out aim is to double this by 2012,”says human resources manager Claudio Cordeiro.
