BP HAS received at least seven offers from South Korean, Singaporean, Chinese and US yards after widening its tender process for the Mad Dog 2 semi-submersible production platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
The South Korean trio of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, Hyundai Heavy Industries and Samsung Heavy Industries turned in their second round of bids to the UK supermajor in late May, Upstream understands.
