Maersk intends to spud two wells as operator in Block BM-C-37 and one well each in blocks BM-S-66 and BM-S-67. All four campaigns are expected to take place in the second half, said a well-placed source.
The Danish company seems excited about the hydrocarbons potential in BM-C-37.
The block was acquired in 2007 in association with Brazilian independent OGX and is adjacent to oil discoveries such as Pipeline and Waimea.
