The operator of the Magnolia liquefied natural gas project in the US has extended the validity period of its binding engineering, procurement and construction contract with a KBR-led joint venture.
The binding lump-sum turnkey contract with KBR and SK Engineering & Construction is now valid until 31 December 2017.
Project operator LNG Ltd said the extension allows it to focus on finalising offtake agreements and moving toward a final investment decision.
