Australian coalbed methane gas company Comet Ridge has mobilised a drilling rig to its Maholo permit in Queensland to begin a field development process.
The TDC Rig 8 will first drill the Mira-5 well as part of a process to convert reserves to the proven and probable category, and targeting up to 200 billion cubic feet of gas net to Comet.
