A new report showing reductions in safety-critical maintenance backlogs on UK platforms has failed to allay fears that levels remain too high.
Industry association Oil & Gas UK’s (OGUK) annual health and safety report showed year-on-year reductions in 2015 in all three categories of planned, corrective and deferred backlog following initiatives to reverse significant increases seen from mid-2013 to the end of 2014.
