US marine contractor J Ray McDermott and Malaysian player SapuraCrest Petroleum will be confirmed in the coming weeks as recipients of the two main contracts, said sources.
McDermott has been selected in a competitive bid by Shell Malaysia, and is understood to have already kicked off part of its workscope, which is a major player off Sarawak and Sabah.
The McDermott contract should be run from 2007 to 2009.
