A spokeswoman for Shell Expro, which operates the platform, said production was not affected. Expro North Sea, part of the Expro International Group, is an oilfield services company which operates in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Man dies in rig accident
EXPRO North Sea said on Wednesday that an employee had died in an accident on the Tern Alpha oil production platform in the UK sector. An investigation has begun into the incident in which wireline operator John Alexander Cowie was fatally injured.
