Australia’s Woodside Energy is considering using mangrove forests in Myanmar, where it has exploration assets, as one possibility to help the company offset its carbon emissions liability, writes Amanda Battersby.
Woodside has been working for “many, many months” on coming up with its internal targets for potential carbon offsets — both in a state and national context, according to chief executive Peter Coleman.
