The estimated 90-million-barrel field lies in Green Canyon Block 244, and has been cited as a subsea tie-back into the adjacent BP-operated Troika subsea development infrastructure. Marathon holds a 50% stake in Troika, which flows back to Shell's Bullwinkle platform in Green Canyon Block 65.
The scope of the Technip deal includes work on subsea trees, a manifold system, two rigid flowlines and an umbilical for the control of the subsea system.
