MARUBENI Oil & Gas has started a major plug and abandonment programme set to span the Aconcagua and Camden Hills fields in the deep-water US Gulf of Mexico.
The Japanese player has the semi-submersible Ensco 8505 working in 6997 feet of water at the Aconcagua field in Mississippi Canyon Block 305, according to records from the US Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement.
