McDermott International this week confirmed a pair of deals together thought to be worth close to $700 million from Saudi Aramco for the state giant’s offshore Marjan field, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
The first engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract will see Houston-based McDermott design, procure, fabricate and install the field's TP-10 tie-in platform.
The deal, which Upstream reported in January was destined for McDermott, also includes testing and pre-commissioning.
