US-based engineering giant McDermott has signed a land lease agreement with Saudi Aramco to set up a substantial fabrication yard at the International Maritime Industries (IMI) facilities in Ras Al-Khair.
McDermott said the new fabrication facility is likely to be operational by 2022 and would have a throughput capacity of 60,000 tonnes per annum at peak.
