The protracted production sharing contract extension process will delay the final investment decision to the fourth quarter, according to local independent Medco.
The slowness of the process, which is nothing new in Indonesia, is understood to be frustrating some within the government keen to see Block A’s gas flowing sooner rather than later.
The onshore project is targeting to produce up to 110 million cubic feet per day of gas that will help meet the nation’s burgeoning demand.
