McDermott’s heavy lift Derrick Barge 50 will carry out a side-lift of the six-pile, 3300-tonne jacket and set it over the existing well site in 391 feet of water depth.
The DB 50 will then lift the topsides, which weighs 2100 tonnes, into place atop the jacket.
Financial terms of the transportation and installation contract were not disclosed.
Louisiana-based Gulf Island Fabrication built the jacket and deck.
