Brazil's Petrobras is due to receive commercial proposals next week in a tender to contract 11 highly-specialised subsea trees to serve the Mero-2 floating production, storage and offloading vessel, writes Fabio Palmigiani.

However, expectations are high that the process could face a month or two's delay

Petrobras is understood to have invited contractors such as TechnipFMC, Aker Solutions, Schlumberger-owned OneSubsea and GE-controlled Baker Hughes to participate in the tender.
