Shell is keen to launch its exploration drive in Mexico as part of its broader effort to ramp up deep-water production across the globe, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
“We are extremely excited about our new projects in Mexico,” says Pablo Tejera-Cuesta, Shell’s general manager for upstream development in Mexico.
“Deep water is a growth priority for Shell's upstream business and the blocks acquired in Mexico add to our very successful portfolio in this activity.”
