An industry source said Ravenna-based Micoperi’s work for Petrobel includes the transport and installation of a five-well subsea production system for the Deka development.
The Deka project consists of the Denise and Karawan gas fields in the shallow-water Temsah concession, which are located 70 kilometres and 60 kilometres respectively offshore and in water depths of 100 metres and 68 metres.
The five subsea wells have been supplied by Cameron — which beat competition from GE’s Vetco division — and will tap the Denise North, Denise North West, Denise South and Karawan discoveries.
