Development company Atlantis Deepwater Technology Holdings (ADTH) is about to confirm a marine testing contract worth around $2 million to either Aker Marine Contractors or Ugland Construction.
Meanwhile, construction of the large buoy-type structure is passing the half-way mark at fabricator Nymo's yard in Grimstad, where ADTH is also based.
Due for delivery on 1 December, the 220-tonne unit will then be barged round the coast to Stavanger, where it will undergo 25 test days over a period in Gandsfjord.
