THE UK has revealed ambitious plans to close all of its dozen coal-fired power plants by 2025 and to restrict their output from two years before that.
Energy Secretary Amber Rudd outlined a new energy strategy this week that will “reset” UK energy policy by encouraging the building of new gas and nuclear power plants.
