A rocket hit a site in Iraq used by international oil companies — including US supermajor ExxonMobil — in the city of Basra mid-week, threatening to further escalate US-Iran tensions after a pair of attacks against shipping in the Persian Gulf on 13 June, writes Nassir Shirkhani.
