Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE) is in direct talks with de facto parent Petronas about the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning contract for the central processing platform for the oil company’s delayed Kasawari sour gas project off Sarawak, East Malaysia.
MMHE and its partner, UK-headquartered TechnipFMC, have been awarded a letter of intent for the CPP job, though that conditional award is based on the same price that the contractor pairing bid around 18 months ago, industry sources said.
