MALAYSIA Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE) has won a much-needed offshore construction contract in the shape of a wellhead platform for the Sepat project.

The company said it was awarded the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the Sepat-A topsides and substructure by Petronas.

The structures are targeted for sail-away in the second quarter of 2018. The platform is understood to feature a 1450-tonne jacket and 1100-tonne topsides.
