The floating production contractor signed the deal with Hess on 16 October, delivering a final defeat to rival TLP designers ABB and Atlantia.
Each TLP will have 18 slots for tender-assisted drilling. One unit will be moored in 1750 feet of water over the Okume field. The other TLP will be installed on Oveng in about 900 feet of water. The TLPs will also support wells drilled into the Ebano field.
