Modec struggling to secure topsides modules amid debt row

The modules were fabricated by Empresa Brasileira de Engenharia (EBE), part of the struggling MPE group.

EBE was responsible for the fabrication of eight modules and a pipe rack for Modec’s Cidade de Mangaratiba FPSO, now in production, and is in the process of delivering another 10 modules for the Cidade de Itaguai (MV-26) FPSO, now entering the integration phase at BrasFels shipyard.
