The field, located in block 3370-3 (Tal), is currently producing 26 million cubic feet of gas per day and this will be ramped up to between 35 and 50 MMcfd during the EWT. This test is expected to run for between 12 and 18 months ahead of commercial production that is scheduld for start-up sometime in 2006.
The gas is being shipped from Gurguri via a 78-kilometre pipeline to Kohat that was was installed by national transmission company Sui Northern Gas Pipeline.
