State-owned LNG Croatia has pushed back the deadline for interested players to take capacity in the nation's first liquefied natural gas import facility.

The phased LNG receiving and regasification project on the island of Krk will initially utilise a floating storage and regasification unit at Omisalj before a land-based facility is constructed.

LNG Croatia, in co-operation with Croatia’s transmission system operator Plinacro and Hungarian counterpart FGSZ, moved back from 3 August to 28 September the deadline for submissions to take capacity after requests from prospective terminal users.
