Malaysia’s SapuraOMV Upstream has been granted a time extension of seismic and drilling commitments on one of its four Australian exploration permits.
The extension in Block AC/P61 gives SapuraOMV another 18 months until 22 December 2020 to satisfy a geological and geophysical work commitment, and allows the operator until 22 December 2023 to drill a first exploration well, according to a regulatory filing.
