Petrobras chartered the drillship Dhirubhai Deepwater KG1 from Transocean for a dayrate of $440,000 and the newbuild drillship Brava Star from Queiroz Galvao Oil & Gas (QGOG) at a dayrate of $530,000.
The Dhirubhai Deepwater KG1 is due to start its three-year contract in January after sailing from India, where it is chartered with Reliance Industries for a dayrate of $510,000.
