Eni has bolstered its position in Mozambique’s deep-water play by acquiring stakes in three blocks through a farm-in deal with ExxonMobil.
The Italian major will gain exploration and development rights to the A5-B, Z5-C and Z5-D blocks, located in the Angoche and Zambezi basins, through the acquisition of a 10% interest in each tract.
