Changes that have now been unveiled will bring the total bill for the unit up to $950 million.
The company needs more cash to finish the unit and is looking at several options, including finding an industrial investor to participate in the project. Several parties have already expressed an interest, MPF said.
Delivery of the floater has been pushed back to December 2009 from the third quarter.
