Mylos magic

Occasion: the official naming ceremony for the drillship Ocean Rig Mylos took place in a celebratory atmosphere at Samsung Heavy Industries’ Geoje shipyard in South Korea. The rig has been chartered by Repsol Sinopec at a dayrate of more than $600,000 for a three-year period. The seventh-generation vessel is now en route and due to arrive off Brazil in early November to begin the appraisal programme at the giant Pao de Acucar pre-salt discovery in Block BM-C-33 in the Campos basinPhoto: REPSOL SINOPEC
