The aim is to have the second producer coming on stream by the middle of this year. The Na Kika 3 project included the drilling and completion of the Ariel-5 and Kepler-4 wells, and subsea infrastructure to tieback to the existing Na Kika platform.
“The Na Kika phase three project demonstrates BP’s ongoing commitment to the deep-water Gulf of Mexico,” said Richard Morrison, BP Gulf of Mexico regional president.
