“The shareholders of the project need to discuss the project’s next steps,” said a source.
“It is too early to talk about specific alternative gas sources, only that we will consider our options as a group before announcing anything further,” the source added.
The Nabucco proposal was under consideration for more than a decade, initially as a dedicated pipeline to Austria being fed both by Azerbaijan and Iran.
