Namibian state oil company Namcor has issued fresh bid documents for a three-well subsea production system on its economically challenging Kudu gas project.
Industry sources said talks with potential bidders are already under way, with a contract due to be placed within two months.
Kudu’s subsea wells will be tied back to a floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which Upstream understands will be supplied by Norway’s BW Offshore.
