Repsol and partner Tower Resources will drill the Welwitchia structure in the first quarter seeking multiple horizons and possible reserves estimated at 500 million barrels of oil equivalent. Chariot Oil & Gas will drill by mid-2014, with BP-Serica following in the fourth quarter.
CSG Energy will acquire 150 kilometres of 2D seismic and one stratigraphic wildcat next year in Caprivi, while GXTechnology and ION will carry out their long-delayed SPAN survey along the coast with Seabird Exploration, covering 7905 kilometres over three months across all the offshore basins.
